Biography Highlight

Zhang Yaping, male, Han nationality, is a native of Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. He was born in 1965, graduated from Fudan University with a Bachelor Degree in 1986, from Kunming Zoology Institute of Chinese Academy of Science with a Doctorate Degree in 1991. From 2005 to 2012, he was Director of Kunming Zoology Institute of Chinese Academy of Science. Since 2012, he is Vice-President of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
